The Menu Series
This series will cover European, North American, and Asian menus that you can prepare for you family or for any number of guests. From appetizers to entrees, join us as we focus on entire meal preparations. Well also talk about portion sizes and what to shop for, what flavor combinations to choose or avoid, and what you can do in advance.
Classes are all on Tuesday Evenings from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m.
Cost is $55.00 per person or 2 for $100.00 and requires pre-registration and payment. Classes fill quickly so call today to reserve your spot!

Simply Delicious: An Italian Dinner Menu Tuesday, January 6
This class will cover some traditional specialties and flavors from Italy, where the staples include great cheese, special cured meats, and fresh pasta. Nothing is too complicated here, just a focus on great quality ingredients and food made with love. Chef Laura will even share some of her familys special recipes, so come hungry!
Exploring the Regions of France Tuesday, January 20
French Cooking and ingredients vary greatly from region to region, but the French passion for delicious food is universal. Tonights menu will be gathered from several major culinary regions in France so that we dont miss out on any cultural specialties. Our tour will teach you how to balance those rich French sauces with lighter fare as we build a traditional multiple-course menu that will impress any guest.

Treats for your Sweets Pastry & Cake Decorating Basics Tuesday, February 10
Just in time for Valentines Day, join us to learn some scrumptious pastry recipes and elegant cake decorating techniques. Well prepare a rich, all-purpose butter cream icing good for all manner of desserts, and youll go home with some chocolate treat recipes perfect for your valentine.
Some Flavors of Asia Tuesday, February 24
This class will illustrate the versatility of a few staple ingredients from Japanese, Thai, and Chinese cuisine. Students will become familiar with some less common items now available on most grocery store shelves and realize the wisdom of one-pot cooking! From crispy spring roll filled with cellophane noodles, dried black mushrooms, and ginger, to the secret recipe for Pengs Fried Rice, this menu will tantalize your taste buds.
Flavors of Mexico March 9
Did you know that tomatillos are NOT little green tomatoes? Have you ever tried a fish taco? Do you know what to look for when you buy chili powder? Join us to explore the wonderful, warm cuisine brought to us by our neighbors to the South. Grilled meats, salty cheeses and a variety of fresh sauces will be our way of fighting the chilly March rains, so sign up for some sunshine!
(Mostly) Vegetarian Treats From Michigan March 23
In our fifty states, there are thousands of traditional foods, and Michigan has some of the best around. Michigans peak growing season really begins in May with beautiful local asparagus, followed quickly by fresh mushrooms, berries, and all manner of incredible produce. Our lakes provide fabulous seafood, and we also boast some special local cheese. Join us this week to salute Michigans bounty.
