"PIZZA BOATS"



Ingredients for approximately 4 servings
4 Chicago style pizza sausages
4 unsliced pizza rolls
8 oz. pizza sauce
4 medium slices of mozzarella cheese
16 Medium hot pepper rings
Pinch of oregano

* Bake pizza sausage at 350 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes. Make sure the internal temperature reaches 180 degrees.
* While sausage is cooking place the rolls on a cookie sheet and bake just long enough to harden off.
* When roll cools, cut out a trench large enough to accommodate the sausage.
* Put some pizza sauce in the bottom of the trench. Place sausage in, more sauce! OK...
* Cut the slices of mozzarella cheese into 4 pieces. Square or triangle. Arrange cheese on top of sausage. Place 4 pepper rings on top with a pinch of oregano.
* Place the pizza boats in a baking dish and return to the oven to melt the cheese.
